Andrea Bandhauer is Senior Lecturer and Chair of the Department of Germanic Studies at the University of Sydney. Recent publications include book chapters on Elfriede Jelinek and Toko Tawada as well as a co-edited volume titled Stars in World Cinema: Film Icons and Star Systems across Cultures (I.B. Tauris, 2015). Tristan Lay is Lecturer of Germanic Studies at the University of Sydney. Seine Forschungschwerpunkte liegen in Angewandter Linguistik, Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) und His main areas of research include Applied Linguistics, Methodology and Didactics of Teaching German as a Foreign Language, as well as Multiple Language Acquisition and Learning (L3). Yixu Lü is Professor of Germanic Studies and Head of School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Sydney. She is the recipient of the Jakob und Wilhelm Grimm-Preis (2014). Recent publications include essays and book chapters on Sino-German cultural encounters in the 19th century and Heinrich von Kleist. Peter Morgan is Professor and Director of the European Studies Program at the University of Sydney. He has written widely in German Studies and European literary studies and intellectual history. He is currently President of the German Studies Association of Australia (GSAA), Co-Editor of Australian and New Zealand Journal of European Studies (ANZJES), and Advisory Board member of Oxford German Studies and the Journal of European Studies.
