English Summary
Within this work an electroplated CBN grinding wheel with a defined grain pattern (prototype wheel) was developed. The development process was supported by modeling and simulation using kinematic which was originally developed by ZITT and BRAUN. The prototype wheel was used to perform numerous high-performance grinding experiments with and without the application of cooling lubricant. Both the experimental as well as the numerical results were compared to a standard superabrasive electroplated grinding wheel with stochastic grain distribution (reference wheel).
