Gerhard Buchwald, M.D., born 1920 in Eisenberg, Thueringen. Graduation 1939. Labour service and military service 1939-1945.
After the end of war State examination in Jena 1949.
August 24, 1948 marriage with medical practitioner Barbara Kratzert.
1949 beginning of medical practice at the Sanatorium Sonnenfels in Suelzhayn- Suedharz (due to a tuberculosis infection).
1953 Accepting the offer to practise as head-physician at the tuberculosis hospital Ballenstedt (Harz).
1954 escape to the Federal Republic of Germany. Practising at the Sanatorium Ruesselkaefer in Jesteburg, district Harburg.
M.D. Degree at the University of Hamburg. Certification as a specialist in pulmonary diseases by the Regional Board of Physicists in Niedersachsen. Practising at the Hospital Schwaebisch-Gmuend; at the Clinic Trausnitz in Bad Reichenhall; 1959 at the Thorax Surgery Clinic in Ruppertshain (Taunus). Appointment as a civil servant (public health officer).
Since 1970 supervisor at the X-ray departments of the BfA Clinics in Bad Steben. Appointment to the position of Medical Superintendent and Medical Director. From 1982 until 1989 Senior Medical Officer of the „Klinik am Park“, Bad Steben. Retired in 1990. In 2005, at the age of 85, retired from his position of „Medical Advisor of the Association for the Support of Victims of Vaccine Damage“.
