V B Meyer-Rochow, K M Tiang
In this investigation, structural and functional responses of eyes of adult Jasus edwardsii to various light stimuli were studied. Jasus edwardsii is a New Zealand rock lobster which inhabits the coastal sublittoral down to a depth of at least 50 m. He prefers a rocky or stony substrate to a sandy one, for it likes to rest or hide during the day in a dark shelter.
