The book provides a short overview about the theroretical background and the application of Person-Centered and Experiential psychotherapy with children and young people. Followed by a differentiated display of the recent body of research about effectiveness of Person-Centered and Experiential psychotherapy with children and young people. Particulary the author´s own conduced meta-analysis of 78 relevant primary studies from the years between 1949 and 2016 is present. In addition to a mean effect-size differential effects for the different application areas of psychtherapy with children and young people are reported.
