Schnittpunkt Slavistik
Ost und West im wissenschaftlichen Dialog
Irina Podtergera
With their contributions to various disciplines—not only to Slavic studies but also to the fields of English, German, Latin, Roman, Byzantine, Indo-European, history, art history, and theology—the 77 contributors to this volume demonstrate that Slavic philology is closely linked to other disciplines in themes and methods. These essays in seven languages (German, English, Italian, Croatian, Polish, Russian, and Czech) on history and theory, on past and present interactions between Eastern and Western Europe, on philological and cultural aspects of word, sentence and text in their Slavic instantiation illustrate through their results the fruitfulness of interdisciplinary approaches in the humanities.
