The concept of „Dramaturgische Homiletik“ (dramaturgical homiletics) presented by Martin Nicol in 2002 is based on fundamental insights made in the U.S. by the New Homiletic movement. Revisited and transformed for the German-speaking pulpit, it has been extraordinary successful. The present homiletical anthology unites the works of different preachers, showing a chosen sermon und reflecting on it using the instruments of dramaturgical homiletics. By this it becomes obvious how the concept has developed in many different ways over the years.
