Gerald Hüther is well known for coming down from the ivory tower to take part in broader discussions concerning such topics as ADHD. He is willing to move on interdisciplinary levels and, if need be, to swim against the tide of mainstream scientific gullibility. The contributions in this volume were put together as a Festschrift for his birthday and stem from his fellow scientists of various disciplines who share his opinions and intentions in many respects.
