Offen und vernetzt für alle
Beiträge zur Open-Access-Roadshow Schleswig-Holstein
Kerstin Helmkamp, Rüdiger Schütt, Sabrina Stockhusen
This book brings together the papers to the first Open Access Roadshow Schleswig-Holstein, which took place from 11 to 14 November 2019 in Kiel, Flensburg and Lübeck. At the interdisciplinary event, central topics related to Open Access and Open Science were highlighted, ranging from the political framework conditions and necessary course-setting in university publishing to successes and challenges in the Open Access transformation in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Brandenburg to digital offerings in the field of teaching and education, the Open Educational Resources (OER). What Open Access means for publishers is also considered, as are the topics of Predatory Publishing, DEAL, Plan S and much more. The papers provide an overview of the current state of Open Access and show how a future sustainable cultural change towards more openness in science and research could succeed.
