The anthology takes up the increasing importance of low-threshold counselling services and investigates the question of subjective concerns and the latent problem structures of users. Using the example of pastoral care by telephone and based on empirical data, the individual psychosocial problems of callers as well as the challenges of social change, which clearly emerge in low-threshold counselling formats, are examined.
