Abstract
Markets for capital goods manufacturer have dynamically changed over the last several years. Due to the fact that regional markets are merging into international markets, local manufacturers have to cope with an increasing amount of competitors. Additionally, more and more customers expect holistic solutions from capital goods manufacturers. These solutions are called Product-Service Systems (PSS) and consist of a (physical) product core which is enhanced along its lifecycle by (non-physical) services.
