The photobook “Mohr Siebeck. The Academic Publishing House” reveals the press itself as a work in progress, and was commissioned to mark the closing of its long-established warehouse. In a sweeping cycle of images, Heidi Specker captures the buildings belonging to the press and so records the period of transition that the closure set in motion. An accompanying essay by Henning Ziebritzki interprets Specker’s photography.
